Anyone know of a decent switch that I can use between the battery and the ESC on a powered glider?
The battery position, and hence the position of the plug/socket is not very accessible, and it's nice to have the easy option of a switch in a convenient position.
All I can find is rocker switches, or similar, that are basically mains ones and don't look up to carrying the current.

I wouldn't use a rocker switch. I doubt they'd carry enough current.
I think there are switches available, possibly magnetic ones but I can't think where I've seen them.
Found an electronic one that uses a MOSFET.
Only $18 and yet more to go wrong.
Don't think so.

Try Maplin or a carspares shop..

Maplin and local car shop only have switches up to 16 amps.
Need reliable ones that will handle 30 or so.
Gone back to a couple of bullet connectors and a link.
